Mass balance Findel glacier 2010 - 2024
The graph below shows the mass balance of Findel glacier for the period from 2010 to and including 2024. We have been documenting Findel glacier photographically since 2010.
In 2013 and 2014, the Findel glacier increased slightly in mass. In all other years from 2010 to and including 2024, it lost mass. In 2024, the Findel glacier - like all glaciers in the Swiss Alps - lost a large amount of mass.
