The Driest glacier (Driestgletscher) lies to the north above the tongue of the Great Aletsch Glacier and can be seen from Moosfluh and the Aletsch Forest. The Driest glacier is oriented towards S and lies on rocky ground. Both are not particularly good conditions for a glacier during a global warming.
