The interactive 360° panoramic photo shows the glacier gate of the Stein glacier (Steingletscher) and the lake in front of it on 18. August 2023. It is not clear whether the lake is dammed by a rock bar or by a mixture of ice, boulders and silt.
The impressive deposits of the rockfalls of 2019/2020 can be seen downstream.
